BalletBeFit is an innovative fitness class which is based on principles of classical ballet and its center routines with a combination of balancing, coordination, strenuous and cardio exercises.
This can be a physically demanding but graceful and fun class designed with continuous sequences without using a barre.
The class is suitable for anyone. Maybe you have some experience in ballet either as starting as adult or dancing during or since childhood. But even if you do not have any knowledge of ballet we would like to encourage you to try and enjoy this class. We can go through correct alignment and some basic postures at the beginning or throughout the practice.
Warm up each body part
Coordination exercise
Cardio and jumps
Strenuous and toning exercises including Adage
Port De Bras (Carriage of the arms) and cool down
Gentle stretch
WHAT TO WEAR: Any comfortable clothes that can stretch and will not restrict you from movement. Shoes: Soft canvas ballet shoes or trainers (ideally soft so they will allow you to point feet). Socks or bare feet are not recommended.
